What this certificate is
The Minimum Safe Manning Certificate sets out the number and capacities of the crew a vessel must carry to be considered safely manned, determined under SOLAS regulation V/14.2 and IMO Resolution A.1047(27). Port State Control checks the manning on board against this document.

This document is issued in line with the provisions of regulation V/14.2 of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974, as amended, and IMO Resolution A.1047(27), and under the authority of the Government of the Republic of Haiti.

Practical notes
