This website sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers. Browsing www.hiscr.org, reading the pages, downloading a form or verifying a certificate does not require any cookie at all — which is why you are not asked to dismiss a consent banner.

A single strictly-necessary cookie is set when a member of registry staff signs in to the administration panel:

• Session cookie — holds a signed token proving the browser is signed in. It is HTTP-only, so page scripts cannot read it, and it expires when the session ends.

If you are not registry staff, this cookie is never set for you. It exists to make signing in work at all, so it cannot be declined while remaining signed in.

The administration panel remembers a signed-in user's preferred order for its navigation menu using your browser's local storage. It stays on your device, is never sent to the server, and is cleared when you clear site data.

Page fonts are served from Google Fonts. Where a PDF is previewed on the page, it is rendered by your own browser's built-in viewer from a file served by this site. No other third-party service receives a request from these pages.

Every browser allows cookies to be blocked or cleared through its settings. Blocking the session cookie will prevent the administration panel from working; the public pages are unaffected.
