What this certificate is
The Certificate of Ship Registry is the document that establishes a vessel's nationality. It records the ship, its owner and its particulars on the Haiti register, and is what a port State asks to see first. Provisional registry is issued to allow immediate operation while permanent registration is completed.

This document is issued in line with the provisions of the Haitian National Legislation comm. code-230-476 and under the authority of the Government of the Republic of Haiti, allowing the vessel to engage in international voyage following the International Maritime Conventions & Regulations.
